Join us for our second LIGHT CHASERS winter birds and burrowing owls workshop with Paulette Donnellon on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the Sonny Bono Salton Sea National Wildlife Refuge. Last year, we had a blast, and this year, we’re adding the Anza-Borrego Desert to our itinerary! Can’t wait for this owl-rageously great time!

We recommend reserving a hotel near the wildlife refuge for Saturday, January 17, as we’ll be meeting at 6:00am on January 18. If you’re reserving a hotel before confirming that you’re on the list to attend, make sure you can cancel the reservation. January 17 will also be the Salton Sea Bird Festival — consider coming early enough to participate in their events, which will also include a presentation by Paulette.
